LibGuide Explanation

This Research Guide is designed to assist you in your Appellate Advocacy research and writing assignment.

Each tab of this guide includes information on where you can find relevant resources for your legal research.

Please remember that the Reference Librarians are available to assist you with learning how to use these resources as well. In addition to the "Ask a Librarian" chat feature on this page please feel free to email, phone, or visit the reference librarians in person during normal working hours

Bloomberg Law

Along with Westlaw and Lexis, Bloomberg Law has many helpful resources for legal research and brief writing.  If you don't have a Bloomberg Law account see a reference librarian for sign-up information.  For a helpful video tutorial led by the law school account representative click here. (This is a recorded webinar-allow the software to run on your computer and wait for it to load.)

Additional videos are available in the Help Center on Bloomberg Law.
